I've always wanted to be a writer. I've had pen to paper for as long as I can remember. However, recently, I am not as inspired as I once was. I desperately want that to change. Writing has always been a source of comfort; that friend of mine I can always turn to when in need.

That being said, I thought about what I could do to get back to the rich fulfillment I felt when I finished a piece. And then I remembered livejournal and the comfort it gave me through some very tough times. Two years ago, I was an avid livejournaler. I had communities and journals in abounds. I'm starting out slow this time. I am looking for a community (or two) that will guide me back to writing. I still write but I find that I need some feedback every once in a while. I believe that is why this community would be ideal for me.

I also love to read new pieces and see revisions made to them. I love to see writers grow and change as their writing does. I like to know that I might have had something to do with that. So I love giving feedback just as much as I like getting it. I've always been an active participant in my communities and this one would be no different.
